The towering Hawa Mahal is a five-storied establishment in the form of a pyramid. The Mahal is pierced with around 953 windows, locally know as Jharokhas, with fabulous lattice work. Wind passes through these windows keeping the interiors fresh and windy. The Mahal also houses a small museum displaying royal valuables. The interior of the Mahal is quite simple in comparison to its sophisticated exterior. A visit to Hawa Mahal is truly exciting!
