The main temple of the complex is the Chaumukha Temple, which means four-faced temple. It was constructed in the honor of the first Jain Tirthankara, Adinathji. Inside the shrine there is a four-faced idol of the Tirthankara. Covering an area of 48,000 sq. feet, the temple is fortified with twenty four pillared halls and eight domes supported by over four hundred columns. Images of 24 Tirthankaras have been carved delicately on the pillars. Near the main temple lies two beautiful temples dedicated to saints- Parasvanath and Neminath. The architecture of these temples resembles those of Khajuraho (known world wide for their architecture). The assembly hall of the temple complex resounds with the celestial music of two huge bells weighing 108 kgs. In the close vicinity of the main temple stands an ancient Sun Temple of the 8th century.
