Shilpgram

Shilpgram, a craft village, is an excellent place to see and buy the handicrafts made by the skilled craftsmen from states such as Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Goa. Sprawling over an area of 70 acres, the village is located at the foot of the Aravali Hills. There are many fascinating pavilions scattered across Shilpgram. The village also serves as a great opportunity for the craftsmen to interact with each other and learn new things.

Shilpgram serves as the venue for the biggest handicraft fair held annually. The highlight of the fair is the fabulous terracotta work in dark colors and elegant wooden carvings. Buy some handicrafts like woven clothes, fabrics with mirror work or embroidery and you will remember the village for the great quality and durability of its items.

The Shilpgram comes alive in the evening when the theater artists take the stage and give brilliant dance and music performances. You can visit Shilpgram from 1st to 10th December every year. The village is open from 9AM to 7PM.
