Major Attractions: Mubarak Mahal: It is a small establishment built by Maharaja Madho Singh in the 19th century. Its beautiful marble gate with heavy brass doors on either side of the gate catches attention. Once you enter the gate you will come face to face with 'Diwan-E-Khas' or the 'Hall Of Private Audience' where two silver vessels can been seen. Do not miss them as they are in the Guinness book of World Records. Next halt is the 'Diwan-E-Aam' or the 'Hall Of Public Audience' housing ancient manuscripts in Persian and Sanskrit. Chandra Mahal: Chandra Mahal or the Moon Palace is simply overwhelming. It is decorated with the finest of Rajput paintings and delicate mirror work on the walls. Its interiors also have floral decorations giving it a lively look. City Palace Museum: This museum was built in the honor of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. Weapons, carpets and some rare items whose origin date back to the 15th century are housed here. Sukh Nivas: Shiv Niwas or the 'Hall of Rest' encompasses the drawing and the dining area. Shobha Nivas: The 'Hall of Beauty' or Shobha Niwas has beautiful mirror work on its walls and ceilings. It is also decorated with gold leaf and mica.
