Kanak Vrindavan

Kanak Vrindavan, jaipurJaipur, the Pink City, is undoubtedly rich in Palaces and Havelis but it has something more to offer i.e. its extremely beautiful and serene gardens. Sprawling over a huge area, Kanak Vrindavan is an awe-inspiring lush green garden enticing the tourists to spend some relaxing moments in its fresh air.

Kanak Vrindavan is a hot spot for many photographers and film makers as it is truly photogenic. So do not forget to carry some film rolls with you when you head to Kanak Vrindavan Garden. Get photographed with pleasant backgrounds. The peaceful ambiance of the garden gives you a sense of peace. Well, what else is required to unwind!

Kanak Vrindavan Garden features a beautiful combination of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Located at the bottom of Nahargarh Fort, the garden is believed to be the place where 'Ashwamedh Yajna' (occupies an important place in Hindu Mythology) was performed by collecting water from several rivers.

'Parikrama' is one of the attractive fountains in the garden which is carved out of a single rock. Full of a wide variety of shrubs, plants, flowers and trees, the garden gives a sense of harmony. The garden also houses a temple named Govind Deoji Temple whose carvings and mirror work deserve mention. The garden closes at 5 PM so reach before you are late.
