Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh

Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh, jaipurBeautiful garden in a desert. Sounds next to impossible. But you must have heard about a famous proverb "The word impossible says I m possible". And this proverb truly suits the Pink city, Jaipur. Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh is a charming garden reflecting greenery, tranquility and blessing which God has showered on Rajasthan. The garden is located only 10 km away from Jaipur. Reflecting the great love of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh for his wife, the garden was named after the royal queen Sisodia. He built it in 1728 for his beloved queen. It was the finest place for the queen to spend sometime amidst peaceful and rejuvenating surroundings.

Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh was built in Mughal style of architecture which has its own charm. It is dotted with several fountains, water channels and attractively painted pavilions. Some of the paintings depict scenes from the life of Lord Krishna. Spend some relaxing moments at this garden while touring Jaipur.
