Jaswant Thanda

Jaswant Thada is the cremation ground of the royal family of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It is famous for its beautiful architecture. Jaswant Thada is located on a road that leads to the commanding Mehrangarh fort. Jaswant Thanda was constructed in white marble by Sardar Singh in 1899 in the memory of his father Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The fine quality of marble shines brightly when the Sun rays fall on them. Cenotaphs of the Maharaja and his family members can be seen here.

Jaswant Thada is dotted with manicured gardens, exquisitely carved cenotaphs and fanciful pillars.
