Khimsar Fort

Carved out in yellow sandstone Khimsar Fort is located in Khimsar village which is 90 km away from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Khimsar Fort was built in 1523 by Rao Karamsji, 8th son of the founder of Jodhpur Rao Jodha. Now the fort has been converted into a luxurious heritage hotel offering royal and comfortable stay to the tourists. It is under the supervision of Welcome Heritage group of hotels. This fort is still owned by the original descendants of the royal family.
