Attractions Of Rajasthan
Rajasthan is popularly known as the Land of Maharajas (Kings). There contributions to the State’s attractions are countless. When it comes to shopping the markets of Rajasthan, especially Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur offer a wide range of jewelery, paintings, carvings and vibrant textiles, fine quality handicrafts, sandstone carvings and block printed fabrics, gems and stones, blue pottery, colorful puppets, antique furniture and much more. Rajasthan is also rich in wildlife which can be spotted in its famous Wildlife Sanctuaries like Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Sariska National Park and Ranthambore National Park. Some of the rare species of tigers, black bucks, chinkara, the desert fox, the great Indian bustard (an endangered bird), gavial, monitor lizard, wild boars and porcupine are found here. Avian species such as common crane, coots, ducks, pelicans and the rare Siberian cranes, imperial sand grouse, falcons and buzzards inhabit these sanctuaries making Rajasthan a wildlife buff’s delight.
