Detailed Itinerary

Visit the second largest lake in the state, the Dal Lake of Srinagar, known for unique houseboats and Shikara rides. Day 01: Srinagar

Warm welcome by our representative and transfer to the luxurious Houseboat. After a light refreshment, enjoy a long boat ride in the tranquil waters of Dal Lake in the late afternoon. A full day of relaxation amidst cool breezes, snow clad Himalayas and colourful flora. Stay overnight in the Houseboat.

Day 02: Srinagar - Local sightseeing

A sightseeing trip to the famous Mughal gardens- Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Wonderful scenery and picturesque spots situated on the bank of Dal Lake, overlooking the majestic Zabarwan mountains. Short visits to the carpet-weaving factory and the Shankaracharya temple. Have dinner and spend the night in the Houseboat.

Day 03: Srinagar-Gulmarg

Proceed towards the Meadow of Flowers, situated at an altitude of 2730 m above sea level. During the two hours drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg, you can take snaps of snow capped peaks, flower valleys and vast landscapes. Visit the world's highest green golf course and enjoy the breathtaking views of majestic Nanga Parbat. Enjoy activities like Pony riding, skiing trekking etc. on your own expenses. Travelling in the Gondola Cable Car to the upland meadow of Kongdori offers an out of the world view of the Himalayan peaks. Stay overnight in the hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 04: Gulmarg - Pahalgam

Leave Gulmarg after having early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam via Srinagar. Take photographs while crossing the Saffron fields and Awantipura ruins (an 1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu). Transfer to the hotel after a four hours drive. Enjoy the lunch and local sightseeing in the valley of shepherds. Spend overnight in the hotel at Pahalgam.

Day 05: Pahalgam

The natural beauty of the valleys with the backdrop of Himalayas, are waiting for you to trek through the mountains, glistening glaciers, gushing silvery streams and dense pine and cedar forests. Adventure enthusiasts can enjoy activities like pony trekking, fishing and camping. Drive back to Srinagar in afternoon and spend the night in the houseboat.

Day 06: Srinagar

Spend a full day in local sightseeing, shopping and enjoying water activities. The main shopping areas for handicrafts are the Boulevard, Dalgate, Residency Road and Lal Chowk. Have dinner at your desired place and stay overnight in the houseboat (having dinner at the houseboat can be a good decision).

Day 07: Departure from Srinagar

Relax in the morning and move towards the airport in the afternoon to catch a flight to onward destination.
